The research and development team mainly relies on the Engineering Research Center of Mechanical Testing Technology and Equipment of the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Time-grating Sensing and Advanced Detection Technology of Chongqing, and the Chongqing Engineering Laboratory of Intelligent Time-grating Sensor. Under the leadership of Professor Liu Xiaokang, winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, and Professor Peng Donglin, an expert on the special allowance from the government allowance of The State Council, it has developed into a team with 77 fixed research members, with 16 national and provincial talents such as winners of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, national candidates for the "Millions of Talents Project", experts with special government subsidies of The State Council, new century talents of the Ministry of Education, and Chongqing Talents. It has undertaken more than 30 national major key projects such as major scientific research instrument projects, key projects, and basic research funds for scientific instruments under the National Natural Science Foundation.
